About Toolgenic

We test AI tools so you don't have to guess.

Toolgenic started with a simple frustration: most “best AI tools” lists are ranked by affiliate commission, not by how well the tool actually works. We wanted a place that scores tools the same way every time, and says so out loud.

What we do

Every tool we cover gets used for a real task — a real article, a real image brief, a real script — for at least a week before it's scored. We publish the score breakdown, not just the number.

What we don't do

We don't accept payment in exchange for a score, and we don't let an affiliate relationship move a rating up or down. If we earn a commission on a link, we say so on the page.

Our scoring model

Each review score is an average of three things, weighted equally: output quality, ease of use for a first-time user, and value for the price charged. We re-test tools periodically as they update, and adjust the score if the product changes meaningfully.

Have a tool you'd like us to test, or think we got a review wrong? Get in touch — we read every message.
